Journey of Azure (AZ-900)
Hi There!
If you are reading this article that means you are researching about the exam for the last 5 to 10 mins and you are feeling a little irritated. Well, don’t worry now.
I won’t be telling any tips or trick for completing the course in one or two days but I will be telling you my journey. How I completed the course and scored 850+ marks in the exam. I decided to give the exam 10th day from the day I decided to start the course. So, before starting the course I booked my exam schedule so that I remain under stress and give my best. I decided to give one day for each part as the course contain 6 part and rest 4 days for preparation. For learning and understanding the course, Microsoft has given an awesome course to learn and instead of learning for some third party website I will recommend you to learn from the official course. They have also given the question criteria for each part:-
- Describe cloud concepts (20–25%)
- Describe core Azure services (15–20%)
- Describe core solutions and management tools on Azure (10–15%)
- Describe general security and network security features (10–15%)
- Describe identity, governance, privacy, and compliance features (20–25%)
- Describe Azure cost management and Service Level Agreements (10–15%)
And if you have difficulty in learning or understanding the things then go to Youtube and search for Freecodecamp.org Azure AZ-900 and they have explained every part, as well as they, have given the topics timeline in the description which will clear your doubts. And, In this way, you will be completing your course now you need some practise question to prepare for it.
Now on paper, it’s not sure how many questions you will get since the no of question is given when you log in for your exam on the exam date and the question will be between 40 and 60 in no. So, I will recommend you to prepare form itexam and examtopic as they give the same question as azure exam and about 80% of question are word to word same but these sites don’t allow to read all the question and ask you to but their subscription so you can go to pupuweb as they don’t have any subscription and allow to prepare for the exam from about 300+ questions. But, I will recommend you to visit itexams and examtopic first because they give an exact image of the questions in the form which will appear in the exam. Once these all is done you will be having around two to three days in your hand so you can download a few exams and start their practice set for preparation. And also you can revise the notes if you have made them.
I successfully attempted the exam and passed it in the first attempt cause it cost around 99 dollars for each attempt and it’s pretty expensive. I took 10 days because I had lots of thing on my plate as well as I was learning Web Development side by side but if you are free during this time you can even finish this exam in two or three days.
Thanks for reading. I hope it will help you to prepare for the exam.
